Enjoy your Luxor day tours in the west bank in Luxor and see the major attractions. Start your day by visiting the valley of kings, valley of queens, Hatshepsut temple and finally the colossi of Memnon while learning about our history.
Crossing the Nile River to the West Bank, you'll visit the necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes. Arriving at the Valley of the Kings, burial place of the kings of Thebes (ancient Luxor), was first used as a royal necropolis by Thutmosis I, although it was his predecessor, Amenhotep I, who was considered the patron-god of the valley by the actual builders of the tombs, you will have a brief stop at the visitors center. Guides are not permitted inside the tombs, but your guide will tell you what to look for inside the elaborately decorated rooms. Then Continue to The Valley of the Queens stands as a dedication to the powerful female rulers of ancient Egypt (the burial place of the wives of Pharaoh) and preserves their glory and majesty for visitors today. Move to visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Queen Hatshepsut was the fifth pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty, the famous female ruler of Egypt who posed as a male to gain the throne. The Temple is located in Deir el-Bahri, which is a complex of mortuary temples and tombs found on the west bank. Back to hotel.
